IMM Coating Fingerprint Certification Scheme

Objective: To assure the quality of the protective coatings products used in the oil and gas industry.

IMM Coating Fingerprint Certification Scheme comprises certification courses and examination (but shall not be limited to these):

  1. IMM Coating Fingerprint Foundation Course (a 1-day course comprises lectures, demo & hands-on) (minimum academic qualification – SPM, SKM, SVM OR equivalent) [more details]
  2. IMM Certified Coating Fingerprint Quality Controller Level 1 (a 2-day course comprises lectures, demo & hands-on; with an exam consisting of 100 – 120 multiple-choice questions to be answered ≤100 min at the end of the course) (pre-requisite: IMM Coating Fingerprint Foundation Course OR IMM Coating Inspector Level 2 OR equivalent).   3. IMM Certified Coating Fingerprint Quality Controller Level 2 (a 1-day course comprises lectures, demo & hands-on; with an exam consisting of 50 – 70 multiple-choice questions to be answered ≤50 min at the end of the course) (pre-requisite: IMM Certified Coating Fingerprint Quality Controller Level 1 OR equivalent).   4. IMM Certified Coating Fingerprint Trainer (role play as trainer for lecture, practical demonstration & interview) (pre-requisite: IMM Certified Coating Fingerprint Quality Controller Level 2 OR equivalent).
  5. IMM Certified Coating Fingerprint Quality Controller Refresher Course (a 1-day course comprises lectures, demo & hands-on, will be qualified to sit for exam of Level 1 or Level 2) (pre-requisite: IMM Certified Coating Fingerprint Quality Controller Level 1 OR Level 2 OR equivalent).

Who shall attend and be certified?

For all those who produce, inspect, review and validate Coating Fingerprint Certificate.
